: Ford Pref, Represent! In a move that strongly suggests a radical new interpretation of a classic, Disney has announced that Mos Def will play Ford Prefect in the upcoming film. "New interpretation" is probably something of an understatement, as will be instantly obvious to anyone familiar with the books or BBC series. It's probably going to be "loosely inspired by" or perhaps "related only in name to" the original works. I am not opposed to this sort of culture-mining, so I'll still be looking forward to this.
