All Winners: BBC - Radio 1 - Gilles Peterson's All Winners Chart 2003 is up, picking his favorites of the past year (all new). Catch the re-broadcast of the show and check out the list. There are embarassingly many that I am not at all familiar with -- but this gives me something to shoot for. I'm hearing some soul gems in the show that are amazing. I finally got the Dwele album and it was real pleasant to listen to. Gilles is all about quality, if not actual originality. The stuff he picks just... sounds... good -- the very definition of a solid call. He is still my hero.
