Slothdog's Amazing CD / Album Cover Finder : Slothdog's Amazing CD / Album Cover Finder queries Amazon's database and somehow comes up with the 300x300 versions. Pretty handy.

I wish this one wasn't blurry.

Fun with RSS : So, I am experimenting with a couple things. I whipped up some sample RSS feeds for Musicmatch content. (Sorry, only available inside the Musicmatch network.) Then I tried using p3k's JavaScript RSS Box Viewer 1.0RC to show what that RSS might look like embedded into a web page or a blog, etc. The results are at the bottom of the page.. pretty chunky, but that's with no formatting effort at all. I do all this on my own.

Fun with AMG : The new allmusic.com: Explore by... Druggy.
JossStone : I have so much to tell the ASolidCall audience, but where to find the time? All I can pass along now is that RollingStone just posted some live Joss Stone photos. More to come at a later time.

Bebel Gilberto and friend : No wonder I am digging the new Bebel Gilberto track "Cada Beiju": Guy Sigsworth co-wrote and produced it. You may know him from working with Madonna, Bjork and recently was one half of Frou Frou.
Heatseeker: Akwid - Video : The Billboard Heatseeker chart saw a new entry debut at #1 - Akwid. A (Latin) banda/hip-hop act. Here's the video. I could kinda get into this... at least the video has hot chicks wrasslin'.
New Joss Stone Album : USATODAY.com - Coming attractions: "Joss Stone, the British teen acclaimed for 2003's Soul Sessions, a collection of vintage R&B covers, releases her first album of new music, Mind, Body & Soul, Sept. 28."
B Is For Band-Member-For-A-Day : B Is For Band-Member-For-A-Day: "Ever wondered what it's like to be in Less Than Jake for a day? Well now's your chance. Enter the 'B Is For Band-Member-For-A-Day' contest and experience what it's like to be in LTJ for a day - the sights, the sounds, the smells (especially the smells). "
Solid Song of the Week  : Ha ha ha - SSOTW returns with some eurodance that's not (that) super-cheesy. Magnolia - It's All In Vain. By the way, Magnolia is the producer, the singer is just a merc. The video is highly recommended ONLY for people who like hot brunettes in short skirts.

Your Taxi Is On Its Way : New CD from Taxi is coming soon. Wait isn't this the 7th month? It's already here! (I think). Taxi are an electronic/nu-jazz/chillout very comparable to Lamb, at least based on their first record from a couple years back. I'm certain to be checking out this, their sophmore effort.

Joss Live @ Launch : Supposedly some amazing footage of Joss Stone Live @ Launch... but their links all go to random videos. (Third Eye Blind?? 1997??)
Elle & Bo need a home : Remember the cover to Elbow's Cast of Thousands? Well, the cover models need a new home. Just because they're 18 feet tall doesn't seem dampen the enthusiasm for Elle & Bo - The Actual Statues! Here's some backstory.

Danger Mouse remixes Zero 7 : From the promo wires: "Danger Mouse was recently tapped to remix Zero 7's new song "Sommersault" and wanted to make it available free to music fans. [...] Please make sure to stop by the official Danger Mouse website at www.djdangermouse.com." The rap on da track is MF Doom. Sweet!

Here's the download from waxploitation.com:

Beastie Boys - Ch-Check It Out -- Remix with video!  : I don't often see a remixed song have a remixed video, but Beastie Boys get it done as usual - check out the "Just Blaze" remix of Ch-Check It Out. You can really focus on the vocals in this version.
